Safety

Do you think there is ever such a thing as SAFE ENOUGH? I mean I know I am not going to actually put my kids in a bubble, but other than that I do not really think you can be safe enough or careful enough.

I need to vent because there has been several instances lately in my mom and dad's neighborhood. I do not want to say exactly what because I do not like to give criminals their 15 minutes of fame or attention. The problem we are having is that local law enforcement seems to think it is none of our business is there is something hazardous going on down the street.

Wouldn't you want to know if a neighbor was up to no good, or there was anything that may harm your family going on? I say let ME decide if it is important enough that I want to make my family leave the area or keep an extra eye out for something out of place.

Just remember to be safe and keep your eyes open everyone, you never know these days...sadly enough. But it is always better to be SAFE than SORRY!
