Shopping for Lamps and Lighting

Do you remember me talking about that great site to shop for lamps? It is called Farreys.com and they have anything and everything you could want in lighting field. It is always my first stop when I am looking for lamps and lamp shades, but sometimes I forget how many different lighting options they carry.

If you are sending anyone off to college soon, be sure and check out their selection of desk lamps. If you are anything like me though, you will soon be shopping and dreaming about updating the lighting in every room in your house. I can always find the name brands I am looking for, but the selection sure beats any that I have ever found when shopping locally.

My husband just had to make a pull chain light for our basement because we could not find a low clearance light with a pull chain in the store. I never thought to look at Farrey's, silly me! I think I am going to look around and see if they have any of the lights we could have used in our basement, then I will know for next time.

I think my favorite thing they have is the huge array of ceiling fans, it is unbelievable. The other day when I was at the home improvement store my daughter was picking out the ceiling fan that was "perfect for her tree house". I laughed so hard I was almost in tears! You have to love the things kids come up with.
