I love the idea of taking a family vacation that can teach the kids something and be fun at the same time. I have never been to Gettysburg either, so it would be interesting for me as well. I do not know if my hubby has been there, he has been every else in the world when he was in the Navy. It is hard for me to find places that he has not been before me. I think our kids would be interested in the history even though they are young. They are really starting to pay attention when we tell them the meaning of something, or the story behind something.
