Shopping Therapy

The last post I did made me kind of depressed, so I decided a little shopping therapy would be just the thing to lift my spirits. I have been working on getting back in to shape and losing some weight but I still want to look nice until I get to my goal.

That means that right now I am still a plus sized gal. It use to be hard for anyone who was not a perfect size 6 to find super cute clothes. A size 6, I guess I am showing my age because a size 6 in Hollywood is probably considered fat now. I think the national average for women is a 14 the last I had heard. A 14 is not bad, Marilyn Monroe was a 14 but now people think of size differently. There are a few stores that caught on to the fact the some if not most women are over a size 6.

The internet has made it a lot easier to find nice plus size clothes to buy. I just found a site called PlusSizeFix.com. They have some really cute clothes. I particularly like their selection of casual and dress tops. The have both thin strapped tops and ones with a sleeve to them. Some days I just do not think my arms look all that great and would like to have a little cover on the top. Check them out if you are looking for stylish plus sized options.
